Kangook Basik Trike
The Kangook Basik trike is the lightest trike available from Kangook Paramotors. It has been designed specifically for solo flight and is available in two configurations: the Basik Standard and the Basik Komfort.
The Basik Standard ($1,350)
The Basik Standard is a great choice for those looking to both foot launch and wheel launch. The Basik Standard trike is an independent chassis allowing the quick attachment of any Kangook foot launch paramotor. Four bolts are used to tightly secure the foot launch paramotor to the Basik frame. The paramotor harness and swing arms are used in this configuration allowing the paramotor to be quickly removed and foot launched. The Basik Standard can be converted to the Basik Komfort.
The Basik Komfort ($2,260)
The Basik Komfort is a great choice for those who only intend to wheel launch. The Basik Komfort is a dedicated trike which incorporates stainless steel roll bars for additional safety and stability. While this configuration does not use the foot launch paramotor swing arms and harness, any Kangook paramotor frame with engine can be attached to the Basik Komfort. A trike specific harness, which attaches to the roll cage, is used in place of a foot launch paramotor and the wing attaches to the roll cage as well.
We highly recommend pairing any of the Basik trikes with the Kangook Classic paramotor frame with the heavy duty option. This provides the maximum strength and significantly enhances protection for the propeller.
Assembly and disassembly of the Basik is a breeze! Both fiberglass axels are quickly removed using the quick release pin retainers. The front end of the Basik trike can also be removed by simply removing two bolts to achieve maximum compactness.
